The best opportunities don't happen at your desk

They happen in queues, corridors, at events and over dinner — usually when you've run out of cards or your hands are full. By the next morning, the name is fuzzy and the reason to follow up is gone.

Kithring is built for those moments. Share your details in a second, collect theirs just as fast, and jot down where you met while it's still fresh — so a chance meeting becomes a real connection.

The basics

What is a digital business card?

A digital business card is your contact details as a living page instead of a printed slip. It sits on your phone, it's always current, and the person you meet can save it straight into their contacts — no typing, no lost cards at the bottom of a bag.

With Kithring, you share it however the moment allows: tap phones, show a QR code, or send your personal link by message or email. Change your number or job title and every link you've ever shared shows the new details.

And because meeting people is only half of it, Kithring also keeps the cards you collect — with notes on where you met — in a Rolodex that belongs to you alone.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is a digital business card?

It's your contact details as a shareable page on your phone instead of a printed card. People open it with a tap, a QR scan or a link, and save you to their contacts in one step. Because it's online, it's always up to date.

Is a virtual business card the same thing?

Yes. Virtual business card, electronic business card, NFC card and business card app are all names for the same idea: sharing your details digitally instead of on paper.

How do I create a Kithring card?

Download Kithring for Android, add your name, role, photo, contact details and links, then choose a theme. Your card gets its own link and QR code straight away.

How do I share my card?

Tap your Android phone against someone else's phone, show your QR code, or send your personal link by message or email. Whatever you choose, they see your card and can save it instantly.

Does the other person need the app?

No. Your card opens in their phone's browser, on iPhone or Android, and they can save you to their contacts without installing anything or signing up.

Do I need a separate NFC card or sticker?

No. On Android, your phone itself acts as the NFC tag, so you can share by tapping phones. Your QR code and link work everywhere else.

Does it work with iPhone?

Yes, for receiving. iPhones can open your card by tap, QR scan or link. The Kithring app itself launches on Android first.

What is the Rolodex?

It's your private list of the cards you collect — by tap, by link or added by hand — with notes on where you met. It's searchable and visible only to you. Free accounts hold up to 25 contacts; Pro is unlimited.

Can I update my card after I've shared it?

Yes. Edit your details any time and your link shows the latest version everywhere you've shared it. No reprinting.

Is Kithring free?

Yes. The Free plan covers your card, link, tap and QR sharing, two themes and a Rolodex of up to 25 contacts. Pro adds every theme, an unlimited Rolodex, card analytics and removes the Kithring footer. Pro pricing will be announced at launch.

Is my information secure?

You choose exactly what appears on your card, your Rolodex is private to you, and you can delete your account and data whenever you like. See our privacy policy for the details.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account and data from inside the app, or use our delete account page.

What's the difference between a digital and a traditional business card?

A paper card is printed once, runs out, and has to be typed in by hand. A digital card is a living page: it never runs out, updates instantly when your details change, and saves straight into the other person's contacts.

How much does a digital business card cost?

Kithring is free to start, and free for testers right now. Pro, with every theme, an unlimited Rolodex and card insights, will be priced at launch. There's nothing to print, so there's no reprinting cost when your details change.

Can my team or company use Kithring?

Team accounts are planned. Use the help button in the corner to send us a message about your team, and we'll let you know as soon as they're ready.

Will Kithring connect to my CRM or email signature?

Not yet. Contact export, CRM sync and email signatures are on our roadmap. Tell us which tools you use and it helps us decide what to build first.

How do I get help?

Tap the round help button in the bottom-right corner of any page. You can search help articles or send us a message, and we reply by email.

What are the benefits over paper cards?

No printing costs, no running out, always-current details, one-tap saving for the other person, and a record of everyone you meet. It's also less paper in the world.
