Kithring is a digital business card app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Your account: your email address and a password, used to sign you in.
- Your card: the details you choose to add, such as your name, title, company, phone, WhatsApp, email, website, links, bio, photo, theme and username.
- Your Rolodex: contacts you save, and any notes you add about them.
- Card activity: a count of how often your card is viewed, saved or tapped, with the date and time. We don't record who viewed it.
We don't use advertising trackers, and we don't sell your information.
Your card is public
A business card is meant to be shared. Everything you put on your card can be seen by anyone with your card link, QR code or a tap from your phone. Only add details you're happy to share.
Your Rolodex is private
Only you can see your Rolodex. Other users, including the people in it, can't see it.
NFC
When sharing is on and your screen is on, the app lets nearby phones read your card link over NFC. When you collect a card, the app reads the other phone's card link. NFC is used only for this.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored with Supabase in Singapore and sent over encrypted connections. Card pages are hosted by Netlify.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while you have an account. When you delete your account, your card, photo, Rolodex and card activity are deleted straight away.
Deleting your account
In the app, go to Settings → Delete account. You can also request deletion on the web.
Children
Kithring is for adults aged 18 and over.
